A lunch with Contra Costa County - coming soon to your county!

October 5, 2016

Rise Together hosted a luncheon today in partnership with Supervisor John Gioia's office to update over 20 stakeholders on our next steps and identify ways to collaborate for big change.  Contra Costa County has strong partnerships working toward affordable housing, living wages, affordable quality childcare and preschool, access to education and so much more.  We are excited to partner on a communications plan to build a new narrative about poverty, engage those who aren't yet involved, ensure suburban poverty and race equity stay front and center in our strategies and open up access to strategic action for residents and the faith community.

Thank you to our partners who participated: Central Labor Council of Contra Costa County, Contra Costa College, Contra Costa County Employment and Human Services, East Bay Leadership Council, Ensuring Opportunity, Family Economic Security Partnership, First 5 Contra Costa County, Lesher Foundation, Local Initiatives Support Coalition, Richmond Community Foundation, Supervisor John Gioia's Office, TJ Long Foundation, Y&H Soda Foundation
