How Does Your County Rank in Racial Disparity?

RACE COUNTS, an initiative launched by Advancement Project California, USC PERE, PICO California and California CALLS provides a comprehensive online tool ranking all 58 counties by seven issue areas critical to California’s future to paint a comprehensive picture of racial disparity in the state.  According the recent report, the Bay Area ranked among the highest performing counties in the region but had most significant racial disparities in the state, particularly in Alameda, San Francisco and Marin counties.  Though, tech boom created wealth and attracted a highly-educated, high-earning workforce, it also increased housing costs and intensified gentrification, while exacerbating racial disparities in the Bay Area.  Learn more here:
